Cheong Hong Workshop is a sole proprietor concern of Yap Teck Yin. The workshop began its operations on 1st March 1993. Cheong Hong Workshop started as a small motor repair and service outlet at Mile 1/2, Kiansom Road, Inanam. Due to business expansions, the workshop moved to a new and bigger premise/compound at Mile 1 ½, Kiansom Road, Inanam early 1999. Extra skilled mechanics, car body panel beaters and spray painters were then employed to cope with the increased number of vehicles, trucks, 4WD and lorries requiring repair and/or general service. To date, the workshop continues to provide auto repair services and assist in insurance claims for several other companies and individuals in the state capital Kota Kinabalu.
