In the early 1950s the main business was from Plantation Agencies around Klang, Banting, Dengkil, Puchong, Subang, Kuala Selangor and Batang Berjuntai. Then in 1960s the company operated the first towing service in Klang, Banting, Kuala Selangor, Jeram and Batu Tiga undertaking insurance repair works. Malaysia’s rapid economic growth assisted our business and thus in the 1970s, the company’s service extended to many corporate clients like Felda, Ericsson Telecommunication, Yeo Hiap Seng, Nissan IOI in the Klang Valley.

Chiong Brothers Motor Works also was the authorized service dealer for Lyon Motor (agent for Opels), Cycle & Carriage Bhd (Mitsubishi Division). Since 1960s the company have been authorized repairers for all government bodies like Majlis Perbandaran Klang, Kementerian Kesihatan, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Haiwan, Majlis Bandaran Shah Alam, State Government, RISDA & FAMA and the service dealers for Automotive Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd (agent of Isuzu vehicles).

OUR HISTORY

Chiong Brothers Motor Garage  started as a family business with Mr Chong Soh (one of the brothers) who initiated the idea in the early 1950s. In 1953 the other brothers decided to leave for the city to develop their own businesses and thus Mr. Chong Soh took over the business as a sole proprietor operating at No 1A Jalan Dato Kaya, Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan. Chiong Brothers Motor Works Sdn Bhd was then incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 on 18th January 1980 as a Private Limited Company.
