G-Y Auto Sdn Bhd is a sole proprietorship located at Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It was founded by Mr Ng Ah Kiat in 1997. Soon after completing his SRP education Mr Ng began his career in auto repair and service in Kuala Lumpur. He worked as a panel beater at Ah Peng Workshop, Kah Motor and EON Glenmarie for 10 years during which he gained extensive experience and knowledge in auto repair and maintenance. In 1997 he set up his small workshop in Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya with only one employee. While working diligently to build up his business, Mr Ng has never lost touch with the latest developments in the auto repair industry and he pays equal attention to the financial position of his business, and the latest technology so as to further improve the productivity of his business and services to his customers, In 1998, he set up a spraying and polishing workshop.
With improved financial standing and an increasing clientele, Mr Ng purchased his own premises at the Subang Jaya Industrial Park in 1999. Given his perseverance and determination, he has successfully weathered difficult economic cycles and business challenges and continues to develop his business. His friendly, responsible and honest personality, coupled with his good business track record has won him recognition when his workshop was included in the panel workshops by Proton Edar Branch at Jalan 227 Petaling Jaya.
His business grew from strength to strength. In the last couple of years, apart from his main workshop, he has set up another two branch, both located at Subang Jaya Industrail Park with a total work force of 10. He has also diversified his business activities by providing insurance renewal service to his customers. A man of high aspirations, innovation, creativity and highly focused, Mr Ng hopes to further enhance the technological infrastructure of his business and implement innovative ways to run his business so as to provide quality services to his customers in all aspects as well as to meet the changing market needs. His immediate plans include seeking the approval of PIAM to enable his workshop to be included in the panel workshops approved by the various insurance companies.
