Sum Motor Sdn Bhd (formerly operated under Sum Motors Co. which was established in 1955) is to undertake the business of motor vehicle repairing and spare parts dealing. Since then, the Company has gained good reputation and enjoyed success under the management of the owner/manager. For over 50 years, the Company has adapted well to changing times and become stronger in facing challenges. It adopts a long term view in its business commitments.
Sum Motor Sdn Bhd occupies a workshop located in Jalan Kelang Lama (Batu 4 ¼) Kuala Lumpur with an area of over 20,000 square feet. The workshop can accommodate a large number of cars and trucks. Another advantage is its excellent location. It is easily accessible from Kuala Lumpur town centre and Subang Jaya (through Federal Highway), Petaling Jaya (through PJ Old Town) and Taman Desa. Its strategic location makes it possible for accident related/breakdown vehicles in the Klang Valley to be towed to the workshop for safekeeping within a short period of time. Sum Motor Sdn Bhd has a reputation of being a reliable workshop. It intends to uphold that reputation by continuously providing better services to its customers.
Sum Motor Sdn Bhd provides the following services to its customers :
Experienced and skilled mechanics and repairers are stationed in the workshop
to handle servicing and maintenance, electrical & wiring, and body panel
repair works. They also have the expertise to deal with large vehicles like
lorries and trucks. This eliminates the need to deliver or tow vehicles out of
the workshop to external subcontractors.
Sum Motor Sdn Bhd provides 24 hour towing service for breakdown and accident
related vehicles. Telephone contact numbers are available to customers during
and after office hours. The Company has a network of tow truck subcontractors
and they are just a telephone call away from scenes of accident of breakdown.
Sum Motor Sdn Bhd has been assisting its customers in motor insurance claims
since 1955 (previously operated under Sum Motors Co.). There are experienced and trained office staff to listen to customers’ needs, advise them on the best possible option, handle paper work, hasten the claim process and follow up on any outstanding matters. At the same time, the Company remains fully compliant with the policies and instructions
of the insurance companies. It ensures that customers are satisfied and promotes the reputation of the insurance companies with the intention to foster good relationships among the insurance companies, customers/insured and itself.
Over the years, the Company has been repairing many vehicles under various insurance companies. So far, Sum Motor Sdn. Bhd. has been appointed as panel workshop by the following insurance companies:-
