Yong Sew Sang Motor Sdn Bhdwas grown from an existing company – Yong Motor Workshop. In 1990, Yong Motor Workshop operated the car painting business at Batu 1½ Jalan Seremban, Taman Tasik N. Sembilan. After ten (10) years, the company has enjoyed a steady growth in this business. In 2000, the company bought one (1) lot at Pulau Sebang Industry Area with land area 1748 square meter to upgrade its service qualities and add value for its customers.

Since that major restructuring in 2000, Yong Motor Workshop has evolved from a traditional workshop to a workshop that not just provides specialist services in vehicle painting but also provides product and service differentiation. In 2004, Yong Motor Workshop opened another workshop named Yean Shen Workshop in another area to provide specialist services in car repairs, services, accessories and auto air-conditioning. Since restructuring, the company has enjoyed a steady growth in business.

In 2006 April, Yong Motor Workshop from a sole proprietorship company incorporated a private limited company with registered name Yong Sew Sang Motor Sdn Bhd and is operating at Lot 72, Kawasan Industri Kecil Pulau Sebang, 73000 Tampin Melaka.
