Lam Koon Sum Car Service Centre Sdn Bhd is a well established motor repair and car servicing centre.

Our vision is to be at the forefront of the auto-service industry. We are presently expanding our business to a six-acre site in Taman Tanming Jaya, Balakong, to better meet the ever-increasing demand of the auto industry.

We are expanding our services to include repairs for heavy vehicles, such as : commercial vehicles, lorries, busses and so on. We also plan to setup branches all over West Malaysia, to tap into vast potential markets.

In order to cater for our expanding business, we plan to setup a technical school to cope with the ever-increasing demand for skilled personnel in the auto-service industry. This is our commitment and promise to you.

OUR HISTORY

It all started way back in January 1979, when Mr Lam founded Lam Koong Sum Workshop as a one-man-operation at Jalan Peel, Kuala Lumpur.

From a very humble beginning, Mr Lam has expanded his business into gigantic proportions. With great effort and perseverance, Mr Lam secured businesses from numerous sectors, which catapulted the workshop’s success to great new heights.

In 1997, Lam Koong Sum Car Service Sdn Bhd was incorporated to fulfill the increasing demand of the auto service industry. With a team of experts and specialists in their related fields, Lam Koong Sum Car Service Sdn Bhd is able to carry out repairs of all kinds of car engines, bodywork, welding, Oven Baked Painting System, motor vehicles accidents, claims services. In short, everything under the sun when it comes to automobiles.

Moreover, Lam Koong Sum Car Service Sdn Bhd is approved by PIAM and is the appointed workshop for Kementerian Kewangan, Spanco, and the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM). Furthermore, we are also the authorized panel workshop for several renowned insurance companies.
